Following its success at the ENACTUS National Competition where Ekiti State University emerged first nationwide.

The institution has commenced preparation to compete with other countries of the world in China. Ekiti State University ENACTUS team is now regarded as TEAM NIGERIA and battle ready to fly to China in October and become the third African Country after Egypt and Zimbabwe to win the ENACTUS World Cup which attracts the best from Europe, South America, Asia, North America, Africa and other regions of the world.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Development, Prof. Victor Adeoluwa while addressing a fund raising Committee set up to get financial support for the trip to China said the institution would leave no stone unturned to achieve success in China.

Professor Adeoluwa said the Ekiti State Government and other corporate organizations would be involved in the project which he described as a thing of pride for Ekiti people.     

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor added that about 50 students are to make the trip to China to represent Ekiti State and Nigeria and this will require enormous funding.

He solicited the financial support of all stakeholders to ensure a successful outing at the World Cup.

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oladipo Aina pledges his commitment to ensure that EKSU competes effectively at the ENACTUS World cup.
