The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University(EKSU), Professor Samuel Oye Bandele on behalf of Council, Senate, Staff and Students of the Institution has commiserated with the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose and the entire people of the State on the sudden death of six (6) virile and formidable medical doctors and a driver while on a trip to Kaduna few days ago.

Professor Bandele noted that the loss of the seven (7) Ekiti indigenes was painful, praying that our people should not witness such tragic incident again.

He expressed deep condolence to the Governor, the people of Ekiti State, the families and professional colleagues of the deceased saying “God in His infinite mercies will ultimately grant them fortitude to bear the loss.

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate and the entire University Community, I express deep condolence for the loss of these high profiled medical doctors, and their driver and wish their families the continued support of the Almighty God”, the Vice-Chancellor stated.
