news1The Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has observed that some students of the institution have not paid tuition fees and other charges under the guise that lecturers are on strike.

Sequel to this observation, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele has directed that all students of the University should pay their fees and complete the registration processes on or before Monday, February 5, 2018.

The Vice-Chancellor reminded the students and other stake-holders that negotiation between the Management and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is ongoing. He warned that as soon as the industrial action is over, lectures will resume and students who fail to pay the necessary dues would not be allowed to attend lectures. Defaulting students may also lose their studentship.
