The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Professor Oladipo Aina has restated his commitment to leave no stone unturned towards actualizing the vision of the University to become a first class University in the 21st Century.

Professor Aina said this while receiving the victorious EKSU team who recently emerged third nationwide in the Annual National Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the National Universities Commission.

The EKSU Vice-Chancellor commended the impressive performance of the students who competed brilliantly alongside over forty Nigerian Universities and twenty academic Professional Institutes to emerge third adding that their achievement has further lifted the ranking of Ekiti State University nationally and globally.

The EKSU Students participated in two categories where Products designed and manufactured by participants were ranked according to quality and industry relevance.

The Ekiti State University has now won three National Competition in three months aside being the reigning Nigerian Champion of the ENACTUS Competition held in July, 2014. Presenting the Bronze medals and certificate of excellence to the Vice-Chancellor, the team Coordinator, Dr. A. Awe described the performance of the students as spectacular.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oladipo Aina thanked the team for representing Ekiti State proudly adding that preparation for the world ENACTUS Competition scheduled for South Africa should begin immediately.
