It was another feather added to the cap of the Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Professor Samuel Oye Bandele who has been recognized for his outstanding achievement and contribution to education growth in Nigeria and the works of promoting Humanity.
The latest award was given at the edition of 4th edition of Afe Babalola Day held in Ado, the Ekiti state capital.
The Afe Babalola Day is an annual event which provides a platform for recognition of individuals and groups who have devoted their time and resources to help humanity develop the society and show kindness to the helpless.
Presenting the award to the EKSU Vice Chancellor, who was represented by Professor Remigious Famuwole the patron of Afe Babalola Day celebration ,His Royal Majesty,Oba Oluwole Ademolaju congratulated the recipient and commended him for his leadership as Vice Chancellor.
Oba Ademolaju said the choice of Professor Samuel Oye Bandele was carefully done and the selection committee was unanimous in its decision to give him the special award for his outstanding deeds.
Receiving the award Prof S.O Bandele promised to be relentless in its commitment to education growth in Nigeria as well as Humanity in general.
