The Director of the Institute for African Culture and International Understanding and the Former Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Peter Okebukola, OFR has congratulated the new Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Samuel Oye Bandele on his appointment.

Professor Okebukola, a Former Pro-chancellor, of the erstwhile University of Science and Technology, Ifaki-Ekiti (USTI) in a letter dated December, 3, 2015 to Professor Bandele prayed for the new Vice-Chancellor to excel during his tenure.

The Former NUC boss in the letter which he personally signed, stressed that he had envisioned that after the USTI assignment, God would keep elevating the new EKSU Vice-chancellor adding that his new appointment was one of the several upward swings for which God destined for him. 

 “By December 2020, leave a legacy as the best Vice-chancellor, Ekiti State University has ever   had and await the next professional elevation in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” Professor Okebukola Prayed and predicted.
