The Ag. General Manager of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES), Mr. Idowu Oguntuase has commended the availability of abundant human resources in Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU). He gave this commendation during a courtesy visit with his team to the Ag. Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University in the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
Mr. Oguntuase, a seasoned journalist, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit the institution in order to build on the existing relationship between two organisations. He advised the Management of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti to tap into the abundant human resources readily available in the institution and to sponsor programmes that would exclusively showcase the enviable achievements of the University.
He assured the University of uninterrupted coverage of the activities of EKSU on its major programme.
In her remarks, the Ag. Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Prof. (Mrs.) Olubunmi B. Ajayi warmly welcomed the team and praised the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES) for its commitment to projecting a good image of Ekiti State University and indeed, Ekiti State.
She however, clarified that the anticipated Department of Mass Communication would take off immediately the University meets the National Universities Commission (NUC) Resource Verification requirements.
Mrs. J. O. Ojobanikan, representing the Bursar, Mr. Abimbola Owolabi-Titiloye thanked the team on behalf of Management, staff and students of Ekiti State University.
Also present during the courtesy visit was Deputy Librarian, Dr. A. A. Osunrinde who represented the University Librarian, Mr. Nathaniel Ajayi.
On the BSES team were Messers Charles Afolabi (Director, Communication Services), Ibukun Ilesanmi, Folorunso Aloba (Director of Programmes), and Tunde Oshin, the Head of Corporate Affairs.
