The chairman of Irepodun Ifelodun local government area, Hon. Dapo Olagunju has commended the giant strides of EKSU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele who had in a short time in office transformed the psyche and the public opinion of the University to a respectable level.

The Local Government boss said this when he led the executive members of the council to the office of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Bandele on a courtesy visit.

Hon. Dapo Olagunju said the vision of the Vice-Chancellor to make the institution financially independent was a welcome idea and eulogized the ongoing plans to start the EKSU Natural water company, EKSU bakery, EKSU auto care centre as well as the decision of the management to construct hostels for students that will make the University fully residential.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele said Irepodun Ifelodun and Ado local Government are the landlords of the University and assured them of the commitment of his team to leave no stone unturned towards making EKSU a world class institution.
