The National Institute of Science and Laboratory Technology (NISLT) has urged EKSU to continue provide conductive learning environment for students of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) in the institution.
The Vice- Chairman of the institute, Alhaji Abubakar Alhassan, who came in company of selected council members of the institute to EKSU stated that the institute is charged with the responsibility of regulating the affairs of practitioners in tertiary institutions all over the country adding that it would need the support of the EKSU Vice-Chancellor in making their mission worthwhile in the institution.
He spoke during a visit to the Vice-Chancellors office where the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor (Mrs) Olubunmi Ajayi represented the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Oye Bandele.
“We have come for an evaluation and to assist the system. We hope the management will give us support to discharge our duties” Alhaji Hassan stressed.
The Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the party and appreciated their interest in the University. He assured them of the University’s support and promised that they would not be disappointed because EKSU have been producing reputable graduates in Science Laboratory Technologies (SLT). He also averred that the National Universities Commission (NUC) accredited the SLT department of the institution last year. The department got full accreditation.
