An ultra-modern twin lecture theatre has been inaugurated at the Ifaki campus of Ekiti State University, EKSU to ease teaching and learning of part-time students.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Samuel Oye Bandele while commissioning the building described it as modern and equipped with the best facilities.

Prof Bandele commended the prudent management of resources by the board of the Directorate of part time studies of Ekiti State University who funded the construction of the lecture theatre from revenues generated internally.

The EKSU Vice Chancellor specially mentioned the astute administrative efficiency and transparency of the Acting Director of Part-Time studies, Dr Mrs. Mokuolu whom he said has brought accountability, innovation and rapid development to the part-time studies in EKSU.

In her remarks, the Ag. Director of the Directorate, Dr Mrs. Mokuolu thanked the University Management for giving the part-time leadership team a chance to deliver, she added that the construction work was supervised by the department of physical planning while huge money was saved as the direct labour strategy was adopted.

The coordinator of physical planning department Builder Abulefon said the suppliers who worked on the project delivered to specification and he conducted the Vice Chancellor and other principal officers and members of the University community round the twin lecture theatre.
