Ekiti State University’s chapter of the organization for women in Science for the Developing world (OWSD) has elected a fresh set of executives to lead the organization.

          The new president is Professor Ibiyinka Ogunlade who succeeded Prof. Esther Aderibigbe.

          In her maiden speech, Prof. Ogunlade assured members of her readiness to serve the organization and to provide quality leadership.

          Prof. Ogunlade who thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina for his support restated the commitment of the organization to contribute to the growth of science and humanity.

          The immediate past president, Prof. Aderibigbe thanked the members for the opportunity given her and her team to serve adding that all hands must be on desk to ensure the success of the new executive members.

          The National Vice-President of the organization, Prof. I. A. Fuwape from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) expressed joy at the consistency and growth of members in Ekiti State University.

                    The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Aina who was decorated as Patron of the organization said he was proud of the immense contribution of the organization to societal growth and science and research.
