Of the five Colleges of Education in Affiliation with the University, two had withdrawn their affiliation.
These are (i) Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin and (ii) Kwara State College of Education, Oro.The three Colleges still in affiliation are (i) Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin (ii) Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo and (iii) Michael Otedola College of Education, Epe.
On behalf of Senate, the Vice-Chancellor has approved the Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun as a fourth College affiliated to the University.
Staff Development
The Director, Professor D.O Owuamanam attended and presented a paper at the Clute Institute Academic Conference held at Brechenbridge Colorado, USA in August 2013. He led the NUC Accreditation Panel for Education programmes in the Niger Delta University, Yenegoa in April 2013 and served as a member of the NUC Accreditation Panel in Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, November 2012.
The Assistant Director, Affiliate Programme attended and presented a paper at the 93rd NCSS Annual International Conference at St. Lious, Mo, USA in November 22nd to 23rd, 2013.
The Assistant Director, Sandwich programme, Dr. Mrs K.A. Omotayo attend and presented a paper at the 8th Pan-African Reading for All organised by the African Reading Association of Kenya in Nairobi, Kenya from August 12th to 16th, 2013.
The 5- year strategic plan of the Directorate has been developed and incorporated in the University strategic plan, document.
The Directorate has continued to be a major source internal revenue generation for the University through its affiliate and sandwich programmes. The e-transact mode of payment of school fees has been fully implemented. However some Colleges still owe the university by not remitting fully money collected from students.
